Chrome requires a specific permission to let extensions read files opened from your computer. We need this permission to see the documents you open in your browser tabs.

Here is the step-by-step guide:
1. Open Extension Menu
Click the Puzzle Piece icon <icon> in the top right of your Chrome toolbar.
2. Three dots (⋮) -> Manage extension
Find Ventrilo in the list, click the three dots (⋮), and select Manage extension.
3. Enable File Access
Scroll down to "Allow access to file URLs" and toggle the switch ON.
4. Done!
Go back to your file tab and refresh the page.
⚠️ Important: You must reload the tab with your document after changing this setting for it to work.
